Yes. Arrange a visit to our designated customer area to pick up or return a tote, or add or remove items. Warehouse visits are free and do not use an included service trip. Operational areas remain employee-only.

Smart Totes are for clean, dry, approved household and seasonal belongings. Food, plants, animals, perishables, hazardous materials, fuel, propane, fireworks, illegal property, wet or contaminated items, high-value or irreplaceable property, unsafe batteries, and overweight totes are not accepted.

Both Smart Tote sizes have a 50-pound packed-weight limit.

No. Request one tote, several totes, an oversized item, or everything you have with us. We’ll arrange to get back only what you need.

Your RSC Smart Storage service includes 4 service trips per service year at no additional charge. One trip is one scheduled visit to your location and may include delivery, collection, or both, with multiple totes or items in one visit. After the 4 included trips are used, additional trips are $0.75 per mile, each way.

No. The four included trips reset on the customer’s service anniversary.

Yes. Totes and items being collected must be packed and ready. Drivers are not expected to wait while customers pack or unpack.

Not yet. During prelaunch, new service-trip requests and final scheduling remain disabled. Once production services are enabled, requests will be handled through your account.

Both the original delivery location and final empty-tote collection location must be within approximately 25 miles of Ridgway.

Your selected package includes reusable Smart Totes, the listed tote dolly or dollies, a two-week rental, local delivery, and empty-tote collection.

Scan a tote to add a packing photo, contents, notes, and destination room. Scan it again at your destination to see what is inside and where it belongs.

A Storage Credit is a simple way to measure how much storage is included with an RSC Smart Storage plan.

You can use your Storage Credits for Smart Totes, approved oversized items, or any combination of both.

A 27-gallon Standard Tote uses 1 Storage Credit. A 40-gallon Large Tote uses 1.5 Storage Credits.

Yes. The same pool of Storage Credits can be used for both Smart Totes and approved oversized items.

No. Oversized items use the same Storage Credits included with your RSC Smart Storage plan.

There is no preset value because oversized items vary in size and storage requirements. Ridgway Storage Company reviews the specific item and tells you how many Storage Credits it will use before it is accepted.

Yes. You can use part of your plan for Smart Totes and the remaining Storage Credits for approved oversized belongings. For example, part of a Garage Plan could hold Christmas decorations in Smart Totes while the remaining credits cover approved items such as a bicycle, kayak, skis, or golf clubs.

Items that do not fit in a Smart Tote may still be accepted. We review each specific item for size, available space, suitability for our facility, and its Storage Credit requirement. We tell you how many Storage Credits it will use before it is accepted, then arrange collection and return for approved items.

No. The serialized QR label and its connected inventory record are the core system. You can use storage containers and appropriate belongings you already own, or choose RSC totes if you want to start fresh.

Yes. Serialized RSC QR labels can be used with suitable totes, cardboard boxes, crates, bins, containers, equipment, and other appropriate belongings you already own.

No. Bluetooth locators are optional. QR identity, photos, searchable contents, groups, and saved locations work without a locator.

No. Add a compatible locator only where physical finding help would be useful. Large or visually obvious belongings can still have a QR identity for inventory purposes without a locator.

Update the container name, contents, photos, groups, or location in your inventory. The permanent serialized QR identity stays with the container, so the physical label does not need to be replaced.

Yes. RSC at Home is designed so customers can expand their QR allowance or package as their inventory grows. Contact us for current availability; no online purchase is active during prelaunch.

Standard pickup and delivery service is available within 25 road miles of Ridgway Storage Company.

Yes. Requests outside the standard area are reviewed individually, and the approved out-of-area mileage rules apply.
